Banco Santander and the Madrid Chamber of Commerce, in collaboration with the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and the newspaper El País, have decided to award its VI Madrid SME of the Year 2022 Award to Greenkeeper Iberia. This award recognizes the performance of small and medium-sized companies, whose activity is fundamental for the creation of employment and the generation of wealth in Spain.
We have stood out for investing more than 10% of turnover in R&D&I and, above all, for our awareness in reducing our carbon footprint and using recycled and biodegradable materials, our equality plan to guarantee non-discrimination in salary remuneration and our consolidation in more than 50 countries.
This collaboration was attended by the Deputy Minister of Economy of the Community of Madrid, Manuel Llamas, and the Deputy Mayoress of Madrid City Council, Begoña Villacís, who accompanied the president of the Chamber of Madrid, Ángel Asensio, and other authorities such as the director of companies of the Territorial Delegation of Banco Santander in Madrid, Francisco Rubio, and Isabel Puig, president of the SMEs Commission of the Chamber of Spain.
