It can be applied on the skin of the fruit during the process of preparation of the same, in order to be sent to market. It can be applied by immersion or shower.
The reference doses are:
•Application through immersion: 0.3%
• Shower application: 1%
Observations after application:
• Avoid washing after application.
• There is no need to brush the fruit.
• It is recommended to dry the fruit.
When applied to fruit, it acts like a second skin, improving the protection of the fruit during its shelf life. When used on pears, the pears remain fresher and suder less deterioration, extending their shelf life.
